Shirley believes that stories from long ago have the magical ability to teach valuable lessons that can help us deal with our modern day lives. She enjoys sharing her stories and writing experiences with groups as varied as elementary school children up through senior citizens, in both community and church settings.
She now offers a program geared toward Utah History studies in 4th and 7th grades, including some of her best true stories and hands-on experience with real pioneer artifacts.
